Do you have your proposal strategy planned?

According to WeddingWire (a wedding planning website), 40% of all engagements happen between Thanksgiving and New Years.  Some proposals are elaborately planned and a popular trend is having a photographer at the proposal (slyly hiding in the bushes) capturing the moment your partner says yes!  Jeanna Crossen, owner of Third Generation Photography, completed a surprise proposal in New Harmony, Indiana, recently.  Check out her Facebook page for a look at the beautiful photos!

The proposal sets the entire mood for your engagment, and the average engagment is 6-12 months long. No pressure 😉  I am a firm believer that one of the most romantic places in our Tri-State Area to propose is New Harmony.  You can make it an all day event by shopping at the local retailers or riding bikes in town, having dinner at one of the local restaurants like the Red Geranium, Sara’s Harmonie Way or the Yellow Tavern followed by a stroll in Murphy Park, the Labyrinth or visit Carol’s Garden.  Or maybe you would rather make it a family event and have a small, catered dinner, and surprise your partner in front of family and friends.  Then, spend the night at a bed and breakfast or at the New Harmony Inn followed up by brunch at the Red Geranium.  New Harmony holds many options to make this moment special for the both of you.

Let us help you create that special moment with you!  Visit the website to check out local establishments that can help you turn your proposal into everything you hope it to be.
